As a government contractor, you are responsible for providing the federal government with proof of your work details. This does not necessarily mean that you have to work in a government facility to quality for benefits. Placement is totally left up to the contracting organization, but you still must follow the processes outlined in the Air Force Manual. In order to get paid on a timely basis, you will need to utilize the DD Form 2946.
Duty Assignments

Every time the Department of Defense needs you to carry out a specific task, you will be required to sign this agreement. This document is downloadable and printable so you can fill it out and return it to contracting organization in a time efficient manner.
Benefits
Once you are approved for the telework program, you will be designated a position that may or may not be mission-critical. There are many benefits to utilizing this document, but its main purpose is to ensure the DOD that you have read and understand the terms of the Employee Benefits and Entitlements and Work/Life Programs.
