As a business owner there are going to be times when you have to make tough decisions. Sometimes these decisions will come in the form of discipline. Unfortunately, at one time or another one of your employees is going to do something that warrants a write up. Maybe, this will be a mistake or maybe it will be done deliberately. Whatever the situation is, you are going to have to take matters into your own hands.

What Is This Type Of Document

An employee warning notice is a document that is used to notify an employee that he or she has violated a company policy. The employee will usually have to sign the document as verification that he or she understands what has taken place. These documents are used primarily for businesses, but similar documents exist for a wide variety of purposes.

What Is Included In The Document

This type of document will contain a wide variety of information that you will be required to fill out. For instance, you will need to include the employee’s name and position at the company. His or her employee ID number, the date the incident took place, a brief explanation of why you are writing this employee up, the consequences for the write up, and a blank space for the employee to sign his or her name.
